Chat Box Rules
Here are our chat room rules. Most of these "rules" are simply common sense and proper Christian conduct, but for reference here they are.
1. Nothing anti-Christian, or inappropriate for a Christian chat room. Please do not try to register any blasphemous or offensive nicks. Also please do not engage in any blasphemous, profane, or improper talk, or any talk that is offensive to our Christian community.
2. No conduct that is offensive or counterproductive to fellowship.
We like to welcome all to Christian Chat, but if anyone is not here for fellowship (or for wanting to know about Christianity), but simply for disrupting fellowship, offending people, whatever, then that person is not welcome.
3. No flooding
Please don't flood the whole screen with your messages. Dont flooding like "Hiiiiiiiii, Cooooool" ect..
4. English & Tamil please.
Please speak mostly English & Tamil in the chat rooms so that others can understand you. At least please do not dominate the text chat with conversation in another language.
5. Don't use ALL CAPS
Do not post messages that are typed in ALL CAPS. If all the words on a line are in caps, then two words is the limit. Admins / Moderators may use caps, if neccesary
6. No unauthorized advertising of anything
Please come to our chat rooms for fellowship, not to try to advertise anything. By "anything" we mean anything -- business websites links, groups, doctrine, personal websites, personal ministry websites etc.
7. Do not dispute the chat room monitors
The monitors are there to watch over the chat rooms, promote fellowship, and protect the chat rooms when necessary. Their job is stressful enough. :-) Don't add to their stress by disputing their actions, especially if it involves someone else and not you. For example, if you see a monitor kick someone, and wonder why, don't worry about it. The monitor probably knows something you don't. Have some trust in the monitors, appreciate them, and respect their oversight of the chat rooms.
8. Please do not ask us how to become a monitor.
Sorry we don't accept requests to be a monitor; it is by invitation only.
9. More the one Nick
Please do not register more than one chat nick. We prefer that every chat user have one single identity in the chat rooms. Note: We occasionally update or add to these rules. These rules are linked from the front page of our site.
10. Respectful of others feelings
This is a Christian Web Site. Be respectful of others feelings. Remember to treat other Christians with the same level of respect you'd like to receive. We provide a friendly environment for Christian Fellowship.
11. Bans
All bans remain in force solely at the discretion of magimai.com management. Magimai.com management has full rights delete any chat messages.
12. Personal Details
Dont give any personal details (email id, phone numbers, etc) in your chat. If you give the details management is not responsible for this.
